Our Vision
WHO WE ARE
We at Evolution Simulators are dedicated to creating quality simulation experiences within a wide range of budgets. We specialize in creating custom solutions for Racing and Flight. We know that the world of simulation programs and peripherals can be overwhelming and confusing. We allow our users to skip the lengthy process of researching, purchasing, assembling and optimizing a simulator to jump right into the driver seat or cockpit of their dream vehicle.
WHAT WE DO
We create custom simulator solutions for a wide range of budgets and needs. We enjoy the challenge of not only creating full f16 cockpits or Lemans racecars that turn peoples basements, garages and office breakrooms into an escape from reality but, we also enjoy the challenge of creating solutions that one minute transport our customers to the narrow streets of Monaco then the 15 minutes later to the wide-open skies over the caucuses mountains. Depending on your chosen plan, we will do everything from walking you through your many options, helping you pick out exactly what you envisioned, assembling the actual components of the simulator, and installing and tuning the software.
WHAT IS A SIMULATION SOLUTION
The difference between walking into your local Best Buy to buy a wheel, hooking it up to an xbox and clamping it to your desk and creating a full simulator solution is the customization and the quality. We can create a package that is set up to match your exact needs. When someone walks into the simulator aisle of a big box store, they are often given the option of two or three low end sim racing wheels, and one or two low end flight sticks. When they go online, they are inundated by the hundreds of options with no clear direction to go in, no concept of realistic pricing or compatibility and no idea how to set the products up. Evolution Simulators will cut through all of that and get you on the right path right away.
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
When I put my first simulator together, I had no idea what I was doing. I went to a big box store and purchased the sim racing wheel that I thought was best, a cheap VR headset, a prebuilt gaming computer and the only flight stick that they had. I took all that home and was extremely disappointed with the result. My controls felt sloppy, I couldn’t go around a corner without spinning out and I could barely see my targets in DCS. I spent the next months of my life obsessed with simulation technology. I learned about what differentiates high quality peripherals from low quality peripherals. I learned how to adjust the settings within these programs and peripherals to get far more performance out of them than what they had out of the box. By the end of this my girlfriend was wondering if I would ever shut up about simulators or take her out on a date again. I had replaced every piece of my simulator except for the hard drive and motherboard of my pc. And I had a simulator that felt and looked like what I had dreamt about when I had first started this journey.
As I continued through my sim racing/flying journey I continued my interest in the technology behind simulation. I was always curious about new technology and eager to try new things. My knowledge expanded and I learned that while I was on the right path after my initial binge I was still only at the tip of the iceberg. I finally decided that I should create a company that not only allowed me to work with a subject that I truly love but also to help people to get into the hobby that otherwise might not have had the time or ability and to save people from making the same mistakes as me.
WHAT SETS US APART
We believe that there are three main things that set us apart from other simulation companies. The first is our willingness to work with you and work within your budget to get you to the simulator of your dreams. While many other simulator companies provide simulator packages that they can assemble for you. When you select our custom option, yours will come built frame up with you in mind and can incorporate items that you already have such as your current pc or an item that is sentimental to you. The second is our devotion to hybrid simulators that will allow you to be a racecar driver by day and a pilot by night. Most simulator setups are geared for one aspect of simulation and at best provide a weak attempt at being hybrid. We are happy to create fully hybrid setups even if it means fabrication of parts that may not exist to eliminate as much compromise as possible. The third reason is our openness to VR. While we are happy to build an eye tracking/track IR setup or a triple monitor setup, we have embraced VR in a way that we are not seeing in other companies. Through our own personal use of VR simulation, we have developed the knowledge and experience that we need to develop a high end VR simulator that will change your perception of this complex technology forever.
